Qualifications & Experience:
- Minimum of 4 years’ experience in Cath Lab procedures
- Mandatory skills include scrubbing cases, proficiency with balloon pumps, efficient room turnover, patient transport, assistance during procedures, and manifold management
- Certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and CVT with RCIS
- Flexibility to float to the OR for vascular cases or occasionally to other local cath labs as needed (TG or Auburn)
- Open to considering first-time travelers upon review
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide expert support during diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures
- Maintain rigorous standards for patient safety and infection control
- Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and technologists to ensure seamless case progression
- Prepare, operate, and troubleshoot specialized Cath Lab equipment
- Contribute to rapid and thorough room turnover between procedures
- Transport patients to and from the lab with attention to detail and patient comfort
- Keep accurate records and documentation in accordance with facility policies
