A specialized nursing opportunity is available for experienced Registered Nurses with Cath Lab expertise to support advanced cardiac care in a dynamic clinical environment. This role offers a full-time schedule predominantly on days, working in a state-of-the-art Cardiac Catheterization and Electrophysiology (EP) Lab, delivering high-quality care to adult patients undergoing complex cardiac interventions.

Location: Based in Quincy, MA, this position situates you in a vibrant community with easy access to urban conveniences and coastal beauty, offering a balanced lifestyle just south of Boston. The location provides an excellent mix of cultural, recreational, and dining options.

Schedule:

  • 4 days per week, 10-hour day shifts from 7:00am to 5:30pm
  • Includes 7 on-call nights per month
  • One weekend rotation (Friday through Sunday) plus four additional on-call nights within the month

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist and provide care in the Cardiac Cath Lab and EP Lab with two specialized procedure rooms
  • Support a variety of interventions including PCI, Impella, balloon pump, device implants, and ablations
  • Collaborate closely with cardiologists and the healthcare team to ensure the best patient outcomes
  • Utilize EPIC-Cupid for comprehensive electronic medical records management
  • Maintain compliance with hospital policies and patient safety protocols

Qualifications:

  • Active Massachusetts RN License
  • Minimum of 4 years' experience in Cath Lab/EP Lab nursing with interventional cardiac and scrub skills
  • Current ACLS certification
  • Demonstrated competence in adult patient care within a cardiac catheterization setting
