Take on a key role providing advanced patient care and technical expertise in the Cath Lab as a Registered Nurse or Cath Lab Tech. This contract opportunity calls for dedicated professionals with strong backgrounds in cardiovascular procedures and a passion for excellence in patient outcomes.

Schedule/Hours:

  • Contract position (duration discussed upon interview)

Desired Qualifications:

  • At least 4 years of experience in a cath lab environment
  • Mandatory skills: case scrubbing, balloon pump operation, room turnover, patient transport, and manifold setup/assistance
  • Current BLS and ACLS certifications
  • CVT with RCIS credential required
  • Flexible to float as needed, including to OR for vascular procedures or to other cath labs as required
  • Previous experience as a first-time traveler may be considered upon review

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support and participate in all cath lab operations, including preparing the room, setting up equipment, and managing sterile technique
  • Assist with complex cardiac procedures, offering clinical and technical support throughout each case
  • Operate specialized equipment, such as balloon pumps, ensuring accurate monitoring and quick response to changing patient needs
  • Provide safe and timely patient transport within the hospital as required
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment by ensuring swift and effective room turnover
  • Coordinate with team members and adapt to periodic floating to other labs or departments to meet staffing needs
