Schedule/Hours:
- Contract position (duration discussed upon interview)
Desired Qualifications:
- At least 4 years of experience in a cath lab environment
- Mandatory skills: case scrubbing, balloon pump operation, room turnover, patient transport, and manifold setup/assistance
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
- CVT with RCIS credential required
- Flexible to float as needed, including to OR for vascular procedures or to other cath labs as required
- Previous experience as a first-time traveler may be considered upon review
Key Responsibilities:
- Support and participate in all cath lab operations, including preparing the room, setting up equipment, and managing sterile technique
- Assist with complex cardiac procedures, offering clinical and technical support throughout each case
- Operate specialized equipment, such as balloon pumps, ensuring accurate monitoring and quick response to changing patient needs
- Provide safe and timely patient transport within the hospital as required
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment by ensuring swift and effective room turnover
- Coordinate with team members and adapt to periodic floating to other labs or departments to meet staffing needs
