Working in a leading healthcare organization that serves as a Level 2 Trauma Center, Chest Pain Center, and Stroke Center, you’ll collaborate with a team dedicated to excellence in patient outcomes. Exposure to evidence-based practices and a diverse patient population will deepen your knowledge and develop your leadership capabilities. The organization’s teaching environment ensures you’ll interact with a wide spectrum of healthcare professionals and emerging leaders.
Schedule/Hours:
- Four 10-hour shifts (0700-1730)
- 6-week schedule cycle
- Call required: 1 day per week plus 1 weekend every 4th–5th weekend (30-minute response time)
- Weekend and holiday rotation as discussed during interview
Qualifications:
- Active RN license
- BLS and ACLS certifications
- Minimum 2 years of prior Cath Lab nursing experience
- Ability to circulate and administer moderate sedation, manage and titrate drips, scrub and circulate both Cath and EP procedures
- Experience with prep and recovery; willingness to float to Prep/Recovery as needed
- Previous experience with EMR systems (EPIC preferred)
- Highly autonomous, collaborative work style
Core Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality patient care for chest pain, cardiac cath procedures (LHC, RHC, PTCA, stents), and EP procedures (ablations, loop recorders, device placements)
- Prep and recover patients for Cath Lab and EP Lab procedures
- Float to Prep/Recovery areas as needed
- Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams
- Comply with facility’s safety and documentation standards
