Registered Nurse - Catheterization Lab - Saint Augustine, Florida

An immediate opportunity is available for a Registered Nurse skilled in Cath Lab procedures. This role is ideal for RNs with strong clinical backgrounds eager to make a meaningful impact in a dynamic, fast-paced cardiac catheterization setting.

Schedule:

• Four 10-hour shifts per week
• 7:00 am – 6:00 pm

Qualifications:

• Active and unencumbered RN license
• Minimum of one year of recent experience working as a Cath Lab RN
• Advanced knowledge of cardiac catheterization laboratory procedures, patient assessments, and emergency response protocols
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Proficient in monitoring patients during procedures and collaborating with physicians, technologists, and other team members
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills, with the ability to work well under pressure

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and support patients before, during, and after cardiac catheterization and electrophysiology procedures
• Assist physicians with diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures
• Monitor and document patient status, intervening promptly in case of complications
• Ensure the proper setup and maintenance of Cath Lab equipment and supplies
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Educate patients and families regarding procedures, post-procedural care, and medications
