Exciting opportunity available for an experienced Cath Lab RN looking to make a meaningful impact in a specialized cardiac care environment. This contract position requires immediate start, making it ideal for clinicians eager to contribute their expertise as soon as possible. The role is designed for professionals dedicated to delivering high-quality care to patients undergoing diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures.

Schedule and Hours:

  • 4x10 hour shifts per week
  • 7:00am to 6:00pm

Qualifications:

  • Active Registered Nurse license in good standing
  • Minimum 1 year recent experience as an RN in a Cath Lab setting
  • Current BLS and ACLS certifications (American Heart Association)
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Excellent critical thinking, communication, and organizational skills

Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive nursing care for patients in the Cath Lab, including pre-, intra-, and post-procedure
  • Monitor and document patient status, responding to changes in condition swiftly and appropriately
  • Collaborate with physicians, technologists, and other nurses to ensure optimal patient outcomes
  • Maintain strict adherence to safety protocols, infection control, and patient privacy guidelines
  • Educate patients and families about procedures, aftercare, and recovery expectations
  • Assist in equipment setup, operation, and troubleshooting during procedures
