Registered Nurse - Catheterization Lab in Saint Johns, FL

An immediate opening is available for an experienced Registered Nurse with specialized expertise in the Cardiac Catheterization Lab. This is a contract position ideal for candidates who excel in high-acuity environments and have a strong background in Cath Lab procedures.

Schedule:

• Four 10-hour shifts per week (4x10s)
• 7:00 AM – 6:00 PM

Required Qualifications:

• Current and unencumbered RN license
• Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in a Cardiac Cath Lab setting
• BLS and ACLS certifications
• Strong knowledge of cardiovascular procedures and equipment
• Excellent critical thinking and communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the preparation and care of patients undergoing cardiac catheterization, angioplasty, stent placement, and other interventional procedures
• Monitor and assess patient condition before, during, and after procedures
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care activities
• Respond rapidly and effectively to emergencies or changes in patient status
• Maintain a safe and sterile environment in accordance with policy and best practices
