Qualifications & Experience:

  • Current and unrestricted RN license
  • Previous experience in a Cath Lab setting required
  • Advanced cardiac life support (ACLS) and basic life support (BLS) certifications
  • Proficiency in pre-, intra-, and post-procedure patient preparation and monitoring
  • Strong IV skills and knowledge of catheterization equipment
  • Ability to respond calmly and effectively in emergent situations
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with physicians, technologists, and other team members throughout all phases of invasive cardiac procedures
  • Monitor and assess patients before, during, and after procedures, promptly identifying and reporting changes in condition
  • Administer medications and manage IV infusions as indicated for diagnostic and interventional procedures
  • Maintain sterile technique and strict adherence to infection control standards
  • Provide thorough patient education and emotional support for patients and families
  • Document all interventions and observations accurately in medical records
  • Assist in maintaining and preparing equipment for procedures, ensuring readiness and safety
  • Contribute to continuous quality improvement processes within the Cath Lab

$2,420 - $2,560/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
