Registered Nurse - Catheterization Lab - Steubenville, Ohio

Seeking an experienced Registered Nurse skilled in Cath Lab procedures for a contract-based opportunity supporting cardiac care. Work alongside a committed interdisciplinary team in a well-equipped cardiac unit, providing essential nursing services and specialized support during interventional and diagnostic procedures.

Schedule/Hours:

• 5x8 hour day shifts
• Call rotation: Monday–Friday, 2:30 PM–6:00 AM; Saturday & Sunday, 6:00 AM–6:00 AM
• On call required two days per week and three weekends within each six-week period
• 13-week assignment

Qualifications:

• Current and active RN licensure in Ohio
• Minimum requirements: BLS and ACLS certifications
• Recent experience in Cath Lab nursing preferred
• Excellent assessment, clinical, and documentation skills
• Proven adaptability to a dynamic, high-acuity cardiac environment
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality nursing care for patients undergoing diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures
• Monitor hemodynamics and patient status before, during, and after cath lab interventions
• Assist the interventional cardiology team in maintaining sterile technique and equipment handling
• Provide education and emotional support to patients and families throughout procedures
• Respond promptly to emergency situations while on call
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and ensure compliance with facility protocols and standards
