As a travel RN specializing in Cath Lab procedures, you’ll work in a dynamic, high-acuity environment recognized for its commitment to advanced cardiac care and education. This hospital holds a Level 2 Trauma Designation and supports a residency program, ensuring your exposure to a spectrum of clinical situations, innovative leadership strategies, and collaborative healthcare teams. Each day brings new chances to refine your skills, broaden your expertise with unique patient populations, and build lasting connections—all while enhancing your resume for future endeavors.

Schedule/Hours:

  • 4 shifts per week, 10 hours per shift (7:00 am – 5:30 pm)
  • 6-week scheduling cycles
  • Call rotation: 1 day per week; 1 weekend every 4th-5th weekend (30-minute response time)
  • Weekend and holiday rotations (further details shared during interview)

Qualifications:

  • Active RN license
  • Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab experience
  • BLS and ACLS certifications required
  • Will consider first-time travelers eager to learn

Responsibilities:

  • Circulate, scrub, and assist in cardiac catheterization and EP procedures
  • Administer moderate sedation and manage critical drips
  • Prep and recover patients, float to Prep/Recovery areas as needed
  • Operate and troubleshoot EMR (EPIC) and department-specific equipment (BBG, ACT, Balloon Pumps, Impella)
