Travel Registered Nurse - Catheterization Lab - Summerville, GA

As a travel RN specializing in Cath Lab procedures, you’ll work in a dynamic, high-acuity environment recognized for its commitment to advanced cardiac care and education. This hospital holds a Level 2 Trauma Designation and supports a residency program, ensuring your exposure to a spectrum of clinical situations, innovative leadership strategies, and collaborative healthcare teams. Schedule/Hours:

• 4 shifts per week, 10 hours per shift (7:00 am – 5:30 pm)
• 6-week scheduling cycles
• Call rotation: 1 day per week; 1 weekend every 4th-5th weekend (30-minute response time)
• Weekend and holiday rotations (further details shared during interview)

Qualifications:

• Active RN license
• Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab experience
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Will consider first-time travelers eager to learn

Responsibilities:

• Circulate, scrub, and assist in cardiac catheterization and EP procedures
• Administer moderate sedation and manage critical drips
• Prep and recover patients, float to Prep/Recovery areas as needed
• Operate and troubleshoot EMR (EPIC) and department-specific equipment (BBG, ACT, Balloon Pumps, Impella)
