Opportunity available for a skilled professional experienced in both nursing and Cath Lab technology. This contract position provides valuable exposure within a dynamic Cath Lab setting, ideal for those with a strong clinical background seeking to broaden their expertise or embark on their first travel assignment.

Key Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 4 years’ Cath Lab experience required
  • Must hold BLS and ACLS certifications
  • CVT certification with RCIS is mandatory
  • Solid skills in scrubbing cases, balloon pump management, room turnover, patient transport, assisting, and experience with manifolds
  • Ability to float to the Operating Room for vascular procedures and occasionally to other affiliated cath labs
  • First-time travelers may be considered upon review

Schedule:

  • Contract position with flexible assignment durations
  • Potential for floating to support diverse procedure areas

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide critical support during complex cardiac catheterization and interventional procedures
  • Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and fellow techs to ensure optimal patient care and safety
  • Assist with preparation and turnover of procedure rooms, including handling specialized equipment and maintaining aseptic techniques
  • Transport patients safely to and from procedure areas, ensuring diligent monitoring throughout
  • Support vascular procedures in both the Cath Lab and occasionally in the OR
