Seeking an experienced Cath Lab RN to provide expert care in a dynamic healthcare environment on a 13-week contract basis. In this crucial role, you will work closely with physicians and a dedicated clinical team to deliver high-quality nursing support during cardiac catheterization procedures and interventional treatments.

Schedule/Hours:

  • 5x8 hour day shifts
  • Required call: Monday–Friday from 2:30 PM–6:00 AM, and Saturday/Sunday from 6:00 AM–6:00 AM
  • Call responsibilities include two weekdays per week and three weekends in each six-week period

Qualifications:

  • Active Ohio RN license
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
  • At least one year of experience in a Cath Lab setting preferred
  • Strong critical thinking skills and ability to respond effectively in urgent situations
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist cardiologists and technologists during diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures
  • Monitor and assess patients before, during, and after procedures to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes
  • Administer and monitor patient medications, IVs, and sedation as required
  • Maintain accurate documentation of patient care and procedural details
  • Participate in scheduled call rotations, responding promptly to urgent and emergent cases
  • Ensure the sterile field and equipment are properly maintained
