Seeking an experienced Cath Lab RN to provide expert care in a dynamic healthcare environment on a 13-week contract basis. In this crucial role, you will work closely with physicians and a dedicated clinical team to deliver high-quality nursing support during cardiac catheterization procedures and interventional treatments.
Schedule/Hours:
- 5x8 hour day shifts
- Required call: Monday–Friday from 2:30 PM–6:00 AM, and Saturday/Sunday from 6:00 AM–6:00 AM
- Call responsibilities include two weekdays per week and three weekends in each six-week period
Qualifications:
- Active Ohio RN license
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
- At least one year of experience in a Cath Lab setting preferred
- Strong critical thinking skills and ability to respond effectively in urgent situations
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist cardiologists and technologists during diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures
- Monitor and assess patients before, during, and after procedures to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes
- Administer and monitor patient medications, IVs, and sedation as required
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient care and procedural details
- Participate in scheduled call rotations, responding promptly to urgent and emergent cases
- Ensure the sterile field and equipment are properly maintained
