- 07:00–17:30
- Weekend and night call requirements
Qualifications:
- Active NY RN license
- Minimum 2 years’ recent Cath Lab, procedural, or sedation experience
- Strong assessment, monitoring, and intervention skills
- Experience administering oral and IV medications
- Excellent teamwork, communication, and documentation abilities
Responsibilities:
- Deliver care for cardiac procedures: left/right heart catheterization, stenting, balloon valvuloplasty, structural heart interventions, pericardiocentesis, intra-aortic balloon pumps, Impella, and EKOS
- Serve as a member of the Emergency On-Call (STEMI) Team
- Monitor patients under sedation closely for adverse reactions
- Educate patients and families on site care, lifestyle choices, medications, and post-op information
- Execute accurate documentation, including consent forms, patient charts, and lab results
- Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary medical staff
