This travel RN Cath Lab opportunity is ideal for nurses who thrive on learning and want to broaden their expertise in interventional cardiac and vascular procedures. Collaborate with outstanding clinicians and leaders, deepen your experience in scrubbing and circulating a variety of innovative interventions, and play a vital role in complex patient care.

Schedule/Hours:

  • Shift flexibility and STEMI on-call responsibility
  • Precise schedule details are open for discussion prior to assignment

Desired Qualifications:

  • Current RN license with specialized Cath Lab experience
  • Demonstrated expertise assisting with diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterizations and invasive vascular procedures
  • Familiarity with supplies/devices used in coronary and peripheral angiography, angioplasty, thrombectomy, and stenting
  • Proven ability to scrub and circulate in a Cath Lab environment
  • Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
  • Current BLS and ACLS certifications
  • Proficiency with STEMI response protocols

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare, monitor, and support patients before, during, and after interventional cardiac and vascular procedures
  • Scrub and circulate during complex interventional cases
  • Ensure strict adherence to aseptic techniques
  • Support providers with technical device deployment
  • Communicate clearly with the interdisciplinary care team
