Key Qualifications:

  • Active and unrestricted RN license
  • A minimum of two years of recent experience in a Cath Lab and/or Interventional Radiology setting
  • Proficient in cardiac monitoring, conscious sedation, and circulatory support devices
  • Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
  • Ability to remain composed in fast-paced, high-acuity scenarios
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications required

Schedule:

  • Full-time contracted hours
  • Shifts and on-call rotation as required by department needs

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Assist with diagnostic and interventional procedures in the Cath Lab and IR Suite
  • Monitor patients before, during, and after procedures, ensuring optimal care and safety
  • Administer medications and manage IV lines, sedation, and patient vitals
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver patient-centered care
  • Educate patients and families regarding procedures, recovery, and ongoing care
  • Maintain accurate and thorough documentation in compliance with facility protocols
  • Contribute to process improvements and uphold infection control standards
