Key Qualifications:
- Active and unrestricted RN license
- A minimum of two years of recent experience in a Cath Lab and/or Interventional Radiology setting
- Proficient in cardiac monitoring, conscious sedation, and circulatory support devices
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Ability to remain composed in fast-paced, high-acuity scenarios
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications required
Schedule:
- Full-time contracted hours
- Shifts and on-call rotation as required by department needs
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assist with diagnostic and interventional procedures in the Cath Lab and IR Suite
- Monitor patients before, during, and after procedures, ensuring optimal care and safety
- Administer medications and manage IV lines, sedation, and patient vitals
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver patient-centered care
- Educate patients and families regarding procedures, recovery, and ongoing care
- Maintain accurate and thorough documentation in compliance with facility protocols
- Contribute to process improvements and uphold infection control standards
