Embark on a rewarding assignment as a Registered Nurse specializing in the Cath Lab at a leading healthcare institution. This contract opportunity is designed for a nursing professional committed to providing exceptional interventional cardiac care in a dynamic and collaborative setting.
Schedule:
- 40 hours per week
- Four 10-hour shifts weekly
- 8-week assignment duration
- On-call required for 8 days, including 1 weekend every 4 weeks
Qualifications:
- Current RN license in good standing
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Cath Lab RN
- Proven Cath Lab travel RN experience
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certifications
- Proficient with Cerner electronic medical records system
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver expert patient care before, during, and after cardiac catheterization and electrophysiology procedures
- Collaborate with medical teams to anticipate and respond to changing patient conditions
- Administer conscious sedation and monitor hemodynamic status as needed
- Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot specialized Cath Lab equipment with precision
- Uphold all infection control, safety, and regulatory standards
- Ensure meticulous documentation within the Cerner system for all patient care activities
- Demonstrate compassion and effective communication with patients and families
