Registered Nurse - Catheterization Lab - Watkinsville, Georgia

Key Qualifications:

• Active and unrestricted RN license
• Previous experience in a Cath Lab setting required
• Strong knowledge of cardiovascular anatomy, Cath Lab protocols, and medical equipment
• Ability to monitor and assess patients before, during, and after cardiac catheterization procedures
• ACLS and BLS certifications
• Excellent communication, critical thinking, and organizational skills
• Adaptability to rapidly changing situations and emergency response

Primary Responsibilities:

• Assist physicians during diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures
• Monitor patient status, record vital signs, and maintain detailed and accurate documentation
• Prepare and operate specialized Cath Lab equipment
• Provide pre- and post-procedure patient education, ensuring comfort and answering questions
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care
• Uphold strict infection control and safety standards throughout the cath lab environment
