Desired Qualifications & Experience:

• Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Demonstrated proficiency in Cath Lab nursing, including prepping, monitoring, and recovery
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Ability to function efficiently in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment
• Excellent assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills
• Previous experience working in interventional cardiology or Cath Lab settings preferred

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct nursing care during all phases of cardiac catheterization procedures
• Monitor patients’ vital signs and cardiac status before, during, and after procedures
• Administer medications and assist with conscious sedation as needed
• Educate patients and families on procedures, treatments, and post-procedural care
• Collaborate with physicians, technicians, and other healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient safety and outcomes
• Maintain accurate electronic medical records and documentation in compliance with facility protocols
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and adhere to strict infection control standards
• Respond rapidly to emergencies, utilizing advanced life support skills
