Seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to provide expert care in the Cath Lab on a 13-week contract assignment. This role requires proficiency in Cath Lab procedures and a strong commitment to patient safety and positive outcomes. Candidates should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and collaborating with an interdisciplinary medical team.

Schedule/Hours:

  • 5 shifts per week, 8 hours each, during day shifts
  • On-call duty: Monday-Friday 2:30 pm to 6:00 am
  • Weekend on-call: Saturday and Sunday 6:00 am to 6:00 am
  • Expect to take call two days per week and participate in three weekends on-call within a six-week period.

Qualifications:

  • Valid and active RN license in Ohio
  • Minimum of one year Cath Lab RN experience preferred
  • Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
  • Current ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification
  • Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills
  • Ability to function effectively in high-pressure and emergency situations

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct patient care throughout the cardiac catheterization process
  • Prepare patients for procedures and provide post-procedure monitoring
  • Collaborate with physicians and Cath Lab team to ensure optimal outcomes
  • Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes in accordance with facility standards
  • Follow all infection control, safety, and quality assurance protocols
  • Respond promptly to emergencies and participate in code situations as required
