Registered Nurse - Catheterization Lab | Wetumpka, Alabama

An opportunity is available for an experienced Registered Nurse with a background in Cath Lab procedures. This position requires delivering high-quality nursing care within a dynamic cardiac catheterization environment. The role begins on 8/17 and offers a contract engagement with day shifts.

Schedule:

• 3 shifts per week, 12 hours each
• Day shift: 6:30 am – 7:00 pm

Qualifications:

• Active RN license
• Previous experience in a Cath Lab setting required
• Proficiency with cardiac catheterization and related procedures
• BLS and ACLS certification up to date
• Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced team environment

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform nursing care for patients before, during, and after cardiac catheterization and interventional procedures
• Administer medications and monitor patient’s response
• Assist physicians with procedures, including prepping and circulating during cases
• Continuously monitor patient condition and ensure proper documentation
• Respond promptly to emergencies, following established protocols
• Provide patient and family education regarding procedures and aftercare
