Registered Nurse - Catheterization Lab in Winder, GA

An experienced RN with a background in Cath Lab nursing is sought for a contract assignment supporting cardiovascular services. The ideal candidate will deliver high-quality care during diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures, collaborating with physicians and multidisciplinary staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Qualifications:

• Active RN license (unencumbered)
• Demonstrated experience in a Cath Lab setting
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Familiarity with cardiac monitoring equipment, interpreting EKGs, and assisting during catheterizations
• Strong communication and organizational abilities
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, acute care environment

Responsibilities:

• Provide pre-, intra-, and post-procedural care to patients undergoing cardiac catheterization and related interventions
• Administer medications and monitor vital signs throughout procedures
• Collaborate with interventional cardiologists and technologists for safe, efficient care
• Document assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately within the medical record
• Patient education regarding procedures, recovery, and discharge instructions
• Respond promptly to changes in patient condition or emergencies
• Maintain a sterile environment and adhere to infection control protocols
