(RN) Registered Nurse - CVICU | Brandon, Mississippi

An excellent opportunity is available for a Registered Nurse with expertise in Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) settings. Qualifications & Experience:

• Current and valid RN licensure required
• Minimum of 1 year of recent CVICU nursing experience
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Proficient in advanced cardiac life support (ACLS); BLS certification also required
• Solid understanding of hemodynamic monitoring, ventilator management, and cardiovascular medications
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities within multi-disciplinary teams
• Ability to remain calm and focused in high-acuity situations

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to acutely ill CVICU patients
• Implement physician orders, administer medications, and monitor patient responses
• Perform and document assessments, interventions, and patient outcomes according to facility protocols
• Operate and troubleshoot advanced cardiovascular support equipment
• Educate patients and families on procedures, post-treatment care, and recovery processes
• Collaborate with physicians and critical care teams to optimize individual patient outcomes
• Maintain accurate, timely records and adhere to professional and facility standards
