(RN) Registered Nurse - CVICU | Centerville, Massachusetts

Provide exceptional care in a specialized cardiovascular intensive care environment as a Registered Nurse. This contract opportunity offers a chance to work with critically ill patients requiring advanced cardiac support and monitoring. You will work 36 hours per week with night shifts (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM), including every other weekend and rotating holidays. The role includes floating between the CVICU and ICU, ensuring you contribute your skills across these dynamic units.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver specialized nursing care to patients in CVICU and ICU settings.
• Monitor patient status, respond rapidly to changes, and document interventions.
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans.
• Operate and troubleshoot advanced cardiovascular equipment.
• Administer medications, including critical drips, per protocol.
• Support families and patients through complex health situations with empathy and professionalism.
• Maintain strict adherence to patient safety and infection prevention standards.

Desired Qualifications:

• Current, unrestricted RN license.
• CVICU experience (required).
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Experience caring for complex cardiac cases and managing advanced life support equipment.
