Key Qualifications:
- Active RN license in good standing
- Minimum of 2 years’ recent experience in a CVICU setting
- Proven skills in managing critical cardiac patients, including those on advanced life support and cardiac monitoring
- Proficient in interpreting EKG, hemodynamic monitoring, and titrating cardiovascular medications
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications (American Heart Association)
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational abilities
- Ability to adapt quickly to rapidly changing situations
- Detail-oriented and adept at recording patient information accurately
Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct, evidence-based nursing care to critically ill cardiovascular patients
- Assess, plan, and evaluate individualized care plans in coordination with multidisciplinary healthcare teams
- Operate and monitor advanced medical equipment such as ventilators, intra-aortic balloon pumps, and continuous cardiac monitors
- Respond promptly to emergency situations and perform life-saving interventions when necessary
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments with precision, monitoring for side effects or complications
- Communicate effectively with patients’ families, providing updates and education as needed
- Maintain thorough and consistent documentation in patient medical records
- Uphold hospital policies, safety protocols, and standards of nursing practice

$1,936 - $2,048/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
