Registered Nurse - CVICU (Cardiovascular ICU) in Decatur, GA

Qualifications:

• Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum of one year experience working in a CVICU or similar critical care setting
• Proficient in advanced cardiovascular life support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certifications
• Demonstrated expertise with ventilators, hemodynamic monitoring, and vasoactive drips
• Strong assessment, communication, and critical-thinking abilities
• Ability to remain calm and focused in high-pressure situations

Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct patient care to adults with complex cardiac conditions, including those recovering from surgery or critical cardiac events
• Monitor cardiac status, interpret telemetry and respond rapidly to changes in patient condition
• Administer medications, intravenous therapies, and manage advanced cardiovascular life support procedures
• Collaborate with physicians and allied health professionals to develop comprehensive, individualized care plans
• Educate patients and family members on disease processes, treatments, and care protocols
• Accurately document patient care and progress using electronic medical records
• Maintain a safe, healing environment adhering to best practices and facility protocols

$2,264 - $2,477/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 36 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
