Schedule/Hours:
- Travel assignment; flexibility required for various shifts
- May include on-call rotations and floating to other departments based on need
Qualifications:
- Active RN license in good standing
- Demonstrated expertise in CVICU or cardiac-critical care
- Proficient in patient assessment, written and thorough documentation, and critical thinking
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
- Adaptability in fast-paced, changing environments
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct ongoing assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care for CVICU patients
- Provide direct and consultative support for advanced therapies and restorative treatments
- Engage in patient health teaching, counseling, and advocacy
- Review, monitor, and update therapy/treatment plans
- Ensure all documentation meets regulatory and hospital standards
- Respond to delegated medical functions and refer patients for further evaluation as required
- Embody core values and participate in service improvement
- Flexibility to float between departments within RN scope
