Qualifications:

• Active RN license (as required by state Board of Nursing)
• CVICU experience strongly preferred
• Strong critical thinking and decision-making abilities
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to adapt to fast-paced, dynamic environments

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform independent and delegated nursing functions within CVICU
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care
• Collect and assess health data on an ongoing basis
• Provide direct therapy, treatment, and counseling to patients and families
• Monitor and review therapy and treatment plans, referring as necessary
• Document care in alignment with hospital and regulatory standards
• Support and promote organizational mission, vision, and values
• Float to other units within your scope of competency as needed
