Travel Registered Nurse - CVICU - Florence, South Carolina

Position Details:

• CVICU RN needed for a 12-week travel assignment
• Night shifts: 3x12 hours, 7:00 pm – 7:00 am
• Holiday and every other weekend rotation required
• Cardiac and neuro patient ratios: 1:2
• No on-call required
• Floating may be required to similar units as per staff nurse expectations; agency floats first
• Block scheduling requests can be submitted for approval prior to assignment (not guaranteed)
• All requested time off must be included at submission

Required Qualifications:

• Active South Carolina or compact RN license (must be in hand prior to start)
• A minimum of 1 year recent CVICU experience (2 years preferred)
• Recent cardiac and neuro ICU experience required
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
• Previous travel experience preferred (first-time travelers not accepted)
• Locals within a 60-mile radius are not eligible

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality, evidence-based nursing care in an acute care CVICU setting
• Assess, plan, implement, and document care for patients with complex cardiac and neuro needs
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary healthcare team and participate in a holiday and weekend rotation
• Float to comparable care areas as needed
