Key Details:

• Contract position in a Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU)
• Patient ratio: 1 nurse for every 2 cardiac patients

Qualifications:

• Active and unrestricted RN license
• Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in a CVICU or similar cardiac care setting
• Advanced knowledge of cardiac care, including the management of critically ill patients with complex cardiac conditions
• Current certifications in BLS and ACLS required
• Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills
• Ability to thrive in a highly collaborative, multidisciplinary team

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit
• Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms, manage life-sustaining equipment, and administer medications
