Key Qualifications:
- Active RN license required
- Minimum 2 years recent experience in a Cardiac ICU (CVICU)
- Comfortable managing a patient ratio of 1:2
- Strong grasp of cardiac procedures, monitoring, and critical care protocols
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred
- Excellent assessment, clinical, and communication skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill cardiac patients
- Monitor, interpret, and respond to complex cardiac rhythms and hemodynamic changes
- Collaborate with physicians, interdisciplinary teams, and ancillary staff to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
- Administer medications, therapies, and interventions in accordance with evidence-based protocols
- Educate patients and their families about procedures, treatment plans, and ongoing care
- Accurately document all aspects of nursing care
