Travel CVICU RN
Location: Glenwood Springs, Colorado
Schedule: 12-Hour Nights | Weekend Rotation Included

A Colorado facility is seeking an experienced CVICU Registered Nurse for a night shift travel assignment. This role requires a strong cardiovascular critical care background and the ability to support both CVICU and CCU patient populations in a collaborative community hospital environment.
Assignment Details
- 12-hour night shifts
- Weekend rotation required

Call rotation required:
- 1 call shift per 2-week pay period if requested due to staffing needs (rack up some extra money this winter!)

Facility includes:
- 2 Cath Labs
- 1 Hybrid Cath Lab
- Travelers must live at least 75 miles from the facility to qualify
Responsibilities
- Deliver high-level cardiovascular critical care nursing support
- Manage post-operative Day 0 CVICU patients
- Monitor critically ill cardiac patients and respond to emergent situations
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams across CVICU and CCU units
- Maintain accurate documentation and support continuity of care
Requirements
- Active Colorado RN license in good standing
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications through the American Heart Association
- Minimum 3 years of RN critical care experience required
- Strong CVICU experience required
- Day 0 CVICU experience required
- Travel experience preferred, but first-time travelers are welcome
