Take your nursing expertise to the next level in a dynamic Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) role supporting critically ill patients. This contract assignment offers the opportunity to provide specialized care and make a meaningful impact alongside dedicated professionals.

Schedule and Hours:

  • 36 hours per week
  • 7:00pm – 7:30am shifts
  • Every other weekend required
  • Rotating holiday coverage
  • Start date: 5/26

Desired Qualifications:

  • Active RN license
  • Minimum of one year recent experience in a CVICU setting (required)
  • Strong clinical skills caring for patients with complex cardiac conditions
  • Critical thinking and effective communication skills
  • Adaptability and willingness to float between the CVICU and ICU as needed

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients requiring intensive cardiovascular monitoring and interventions
  • Perform comprehensive assessments and manage patients with advanced hemodynamic support devices
  • Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams, including physicians and respiratory therapists, to ensure optimal patient outcomes
  • Document patient progress, responses to interventions, and coordinate care transitions
  • Provide support and reassurance to patients and families during challenging situations
