Registered Nurse - CVICU - Lawrenceville, Georgia

This contract opportunity requires a Registered Nurse skilled in specialized cardiac care and critical care protocols. Key Qualifications:

• Active, unrestricted RN license
• Demonstrated clinical experience in a CVICU or Cardiac ICU setting
• Strong grasp of advanced cardiovascular monitoring, assessment, and interventions
• Proficiency with ventilators, intra-aortic balloon pumps, and other critical care equipment
• Excellent organizational and documentation skills
• Effective communication, teamwork, and patient advocacy abilities

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to adult patients with complex cardiovascular conditions
• Monitor, assess, and respond rapidly to patient status changes
• Administer medications, manage IVs, and operate advanced life support systems
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to create and implement individualized care plans
• Conduct patient and family education regarding care procedures, medications, and recovery expectations
• Maintain accurate records in accordance with department and regulatory guidelines
• Uphold infection control standards and ensure a safe patient environment
