Key Qualifications:

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in a Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU).
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Proficient in managing advanced cardiac life support, ventilators, and medication drips.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients recovering from cardiac surgeries, heart failure, or requiring advanced cardiovascular support.

• Administer medications, manage ventilators, and adjust life-supporting equipment.
• Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians and respiratory therapists, to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Educate patients and families on procedures, post-operative care, and recovery expectations.
• Uphold infection control protocols and maintain accurate clinical records.
• Respond rapidly to patient emergencies and use evidence-based practices to stabilize critical situations.
