Schedule/Hours:
- 3x12-hour night shifts (7:00 p.m. – 7:00 a.m.)
- Includes holiday rotation
- Every other weekend required
Qualifications:
- Active SC or multi-state Compact RN license (must be in hand prior to start)
- Minimum of 1 year experience in CVICU; 2 years preferred
- Cardiac and neuro experience required
- Must hold ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications
- Prior travel RN experience required (first-time travelers not accepted)
- Not accepting applications from local travelers (within 60 miles)
Responsibilities:
- Deliver expert nursing care to critical cardiac and vascular patients
- Prioritize and manage patient ratios (1:2), ensuring high-quality outcomes
- Monitor, assess, and respond to patient changes with exceptional clinical judgment
- Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams, supporting best practices in the CVICU
- Float to similar units as needed, adapting to evolving facility needs
