(RN) Registered Nurse - CVICU | Mashpee, Massachusetts

Deliver exceptional patient care as a Registered Nurse specializing in Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) and Intensive Care Unit (ICU) environments. This contract role is ideal for professionals seeking to make a direct impact, working alongside multidisciplinary teams within a dynamic critical care setting.

Schedule:

• 36 hours per week
• 7:00 pm - 7:30 am shifts
• Every other weekend and rotating holiday coverage
• Will float between ICU and CVICU

Key Qualifications:

• Active, unencumbered RN license
• Demonstrated experience in CVICU nursing care
• Broad understanding of both CVICU and ICU patient needs, with willingness to float as assigned
• Strong clinical judgment, adaptability, and skill in high-acuity care scenarios
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

Primary Duties:

• Deliver comprehensive, patient-centered nursing care in the CVICU and ICU
• Respond rapidly to changes in patient conditions and initiate appropriate interventions
• Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care
• Communicate effectively with patients and families, offering education and emotional support
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation in line with facility policies
• Adhere to strict infection control guidelines and safety procedures
