Nurses in this role benefit from seeing a variety of critical cases in both the CVICU and CCU, while also gaining experience with advanced procedures, thanks to two state-of-the-art Cath Labs—one of which is a Hybrid Cath Lab. This diverse experience significantly adds to your resume and fosters advanced critical care skills, while supporting your growth in different clinical settings.
Schedule:
- 12-hour night shifts
- Weekend rotation
- Participation in call rotation (1 call shift per 2-week period, as needed)
Qualifications:
- Active Colorado RN license in good standing
- Minimum of 3 years’ RN Critical Care experience, with Day 0 CVICU practice required
- Strong CVICU clinical skillset
- Certifications: BLS and ACLS (American Heart Association)
- Willingness to cover both CVICU and CCU
- PALS certification preferred
Responsibilities:
- Deliver exceptional nursing care in CVICU and CCU settings
- Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams, including advanced Cath Lab staff
- Respond promptly to emergencies and participate in on-call rotations
- Support patient and family education, promoting recovery in a hometown environment
