Registered Nurse - CVICU (Cardiovascular ICU) in Pell City, AL

Seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse with strong experience in Cardiovascular Intensive Care (CVICU) and Intensive Care Unit (ICU) nursing to provide exceptional patient care in a specialized critical care environment. Desired Qualifications:

• Active RN license in good standing
• Minimum of 2 years’ recent hands-on experience in a Cardiac Intensive Care setting (CICU/CVICU or similar)
• Strong knowledge of advanced cardiac patient management, cardiac monitoring, and critical drips
• BLS and ACLS certification required
• Ability to assess, plan, and implement care for high-acuity cardiac patients
• Comfortable working in a 1:2 nurse-to-patient ratio environment
• Excellent communication skills with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct patient care to critically ill cardiac patients utilizing advanced ICU protocols
• Perform comprehensive patient assessments, initiate clinical interventions, and adjust care based on changing patient needs
• Collaborate closely with physicians, respiratory therapists, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes
• Monitor cardiac status, interpret telemetry and other cardiac assessments, and respond promptly to emergent situations
• Maintain up-to-date documentation in accordance with facility protocols and standards
