(RN) Registered Nurse - CVICU | Pinson, Alabama

Deliver specialized care as a Registered Nurse within the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) on a contract assignment. This critical care opportunity requires strong clinical judgment and a passion for supporting cardiac patients through complex procedures and recovery phases.

Key Qualifications:

• Current, valid RN license
• Minimum 2 years of hands-on cardiac nursing experience, preferably in a CVICU or similar critical care setting
• Demonstrated expertise in monitoring, managing, and caring for patients with advanced cardiac conditions
• Familiarity with evidence-based cardiac interventions, ventilator management, and titration of critical care medications
• Ability to maintain a patient ratio of 1:2 and prioritize care in a dynamic environment
• Effective communication skills, strong attention to detail, and collaborative mindset with interdisciplinary teams

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to critically ill cardiac patients in a high-acuity CVICU environment
• Monitor vital signs, interpret cardiac rhythms, and ensure prompt response to patient condition changes
