Registered Nurse - CVICU - Rome, NY

Step into a vital role focusing on advanced critical care for patients in a Cardiothoracic Intensive Care Unit. This contract position calls for an experienced RN skilled in managing complex cardiovascular cases, including fresh post-op heart surgeries. The CTICU is an intense and rewarding environment with a six-bed unit, serving patients with critical conditions such as cardiovascular surgery, cardiogenic shock, and abdominal aortic aneurysms.

Qualifications and Required Experience:

• Valid RN license with at least 2 years of relevant CVICU or CTICU experience
• Demonstrated recent clinical experience caring for fresh post-cardiothoracic surgery patients
• Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
• Prior use of EPIC electronic health record system
• Must comply with a 75-mile radius rule

• Deliver comprehensive critical care to patients with complex cardiac and vascular conditions
