Qualifications:

• Active RN license, compact or Illinois
• Minimum 2 years’ current CVICU nursing experience
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Ability to adapt to new teams and fast-paced environments

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive cardiovascular ICU care for critically ill patients
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for continuous patient improvement
• Monitor, assess, and document patients’ conditions and responses to treatments
• Educate patients and families with clear, empathetic communication
• Maintain strict adherence to safety and infection control procedures
