Schedule/Hours:

• Contract-based position with scheduled shifts as determined by facility needs.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Active and unrestricted RN license.
• Minimum of 1 year recent experience working in a CVICU or comparable critical care setting.
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS).
• Strong assessment, clinical, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in managing cardiovascular drips, monitoring invasive lines, and utilizing advanced life support equipment.
• Ability to thrive in high-acuity, fast-paced environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer and monitor medications, drips, and advanced cardiovascular therapies.
• Conduct ongoing assessments of critical care patients, promptly recognizing and responding to changes in cardiac status.
• Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary team members including physicians, respiratory therapists, and other nursing staff.
• Maintain comprehensive, accurate documentation in accordance with hospital policies.
• Educate and support patients and their families through critical illness and recovery processes.
• Adhere to established protocols and foster a culture of safety and respect.
