Schedule & Shifts

• 12-week assignment, night shifts: 3x12s, 7p–7a
• Every other weekend required
• Rotating holidays
• No on-call
• Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks

Qualifications

• RN with at least 1 year of recent CVICU experience (2 years preferred)
• Cardiac and neuro experience required
• Current SC or Compact nursing license (must be active prior to start)
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS all required
• First-time travelers not accepted
• Local travelers within 60 miles are not eligible

Duties

• Deliver specialized care in a CVICU setting (patient ratios 1:2)
• Float as needed within scope, prioritizing agency staff in floating
• Utilize Epic for charting
• Participate in holiday rotation and emergency response as needed (hurricane season awareness required)
• Adhere to facility protocols, including dress code (royal blue scrubs)
