Desired Skills & Experience
- Active Registered Nurse license
- At least 1 year of recent experience in a Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU)
- Advanced knowledge of critical care nursing practices and cardiovascular patient management
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
- Strong assessment and critical-thinking skills
- Proficient with electronic medical records and cardiac monitoring equipment
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in high-pressure situations
Primary Responsibilities
- Deliver expert nursing care to patients with complex cardiovascular conditions
- Administer and titrate cardiac medications and vasoactive drips as ordered
- Monitor patient status, interpret data, and respond to emergencies rapidly
- Collaborate closely with physicians, surgeons, and interdisciplinary teams
- Accurately document interventions, patient responses, and care plans
- Support and educate patients and families throughout the critical care process
- Strictly adhere to infection control policies and safety protocols
