Desired Skills & Experience

• Active Registered Nurse license
• At least 1 year of recent experience in a Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU)
• Advanced knowledge of critical care nursing practices and cardiovascular patient management
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Strong assessment and critical-thinking skills
• Proficient with electronic medical records and cardiac monitoring equipment
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in high-pressure situations

Primary Responsibilities

• Deliver expert nursing care to patients with complex cardiovascular conditions
• Administer and titrate cardiac medications and vasoactive drips as ordered
• Monitor patient status, interpret data, and respond to emergencies rapidly
• Collaborate closely with physicians, surgeons, and interdisciplinary teams
• Accurately document interventions, patient responses, and care plans
• Support and educate patients and families throughout the critical care process
• Strictly adhere to infection control policies and safety protocols
