(RN) Registered Nurse - CVICU | Wesley Chapel, Florida

This contract position presents an exciting opportunity for an experienced Registered Nurse to deliver expert care in a dynamic Cardiac Vascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) setting.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Active Registered Nurse license
• Minimum of one year recent experience in a CVICU or similar critical care environment
• Current certifications in BLS and ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
• Strong knowledge of care protocols for cardiovascular and post-surgical patients
• Excellent critical thinking, assessment, and communication skills

Primary Responsibilities:

• Monitor and assess patients with critical cardiac conditions or those recovering from cardiovascular surgery
• Administer medications, manage IV drips, and utilize advanced cardiac monitoring equipment
• Respond quickly to changes in patient status, providing high-level interventions as needed
• Collaborate closely with physicians, respiratory therapists, and other members of the multidisciplinary health team
• Deliver compassionate education and support to patients and their families regarding treatment, recovery, and ongoing care
• Maintain detailed, accurate documentation in compliance with facility protocols
