Key Qualifications:
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
- Minimum of 1 year of recent experience in a CVICU or similar critical care environment
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Proven understanding of cardiac care protocols and advanced hemodynamic monitoring
- Strong assessment, communication, and critical thinking skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor, assess, and document vital signs and progress of cardiac patients in the CVICU
- Administer medications, manage ventilators, and interpret cardiac monitoring equipment
- Collaborate closely with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
- Provide ongoing education and emotional support to patients and families during treatment and recovery
- Maintain a safe and therapeutic environment in accordance with facility standards
- Respond swiftly to emergencies and utilize strong clinical judgment in high-pressure situations
