Registered Nurse - CVICU (Cardiovascular ICU) in Youngsville, LA

Qualifications and Skills:

• Active, unencumbered RN license
• Minimum of 2 years’ recent experience in a CVICU or similar critical care setting
• Demonstrated expertise in managing cardiac drips, ventilators, and invasive monitoring devices
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking abilities
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Excellent communication and documentation skills

Role Responsibilities:

• Provide continuous monitoring and specialized nursing care to cardiovascular patients in the CVICU
• Administer medications and titrate vasoactive drips as ordered
• Coordinate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Respond swiftly and efficiently to changes in patient status, utilizing advanced cardiac life support skills
• Perform patient and family education, focusing on recovery and postoperative care
• Maintain accurate, up-to-date records of patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes

$2,057 - $2,176/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
