CVOR RN in Anderson, CA

Schedule/Hours:

• 5 x 8-hour shifts per week (total 40 hours)
• Hours vary: 6:30am–3:00pm or 10:45am–7:00pm
• Monday through Friday schedule
• On-call duties 2–3 days per week, including every other weekend

Qualifications:

• Active RN license (state-issued, current and valid)
• BLS and ACLS certification (current)
• At least 3 years of dedicated CVOR nursing experience
• Experience within acute care hospital settings required
• Hands-on experience with DaVinci XI robotic surgical technology highly preferred

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct nursing care to patients during cardiovascular surgeries, collaborating closely with the surgical and anesthesia teams
• Prepare, assess, and maintain the CVOR operating environment, prioritizing patient safety and infection control
• Anticipate surgical team needs, ensuring readiness of instruments, supplies, and equipment
• Respond efficiently to emergent situations during procedures and while on call
• Assist with patient assessments, documentation, and support throughout the perioperative process
• Adhere to hospital policies, best practice protocols, and regulatory requirements
