Advance your nursing career by providing expert care within a dynamic and fast-paced Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) setting. This contract opportunity is perfect for nurses seeking to leverage their perioperative and trauma/ortho experience alongside a skilled team.

Schedule/Hours:

  • Call responsibility between 4–6 shifts per month
  • Day and night shifts available (both RNs and Techs needed)

Qualifications:

  • Active RN license
  • Completion of PeriOp 101 required
  • Direct experience in ortho and trauma cases is a must
  • Ability to thrive in a 10-OR environment, collaborating closely with a team of surgical professionals
  • Strong communication skills and flexibility to float as needed

Preferred Experience:

  • History of excelling in high-volume, acute surgical units
  • Familiarity with EMR systems and a variety of operating room equipment

Role Responsibilities:

  • Circulate and/or scrub for cardiovascular and trauma/orthopedic procedures
  • Ensure high-quality patient care throughout preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative phases
  • Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and techs to optimize patient outcomes
  • Adhere strictly to safety, infection control, and procedural protocols
  • Prepare and manage surgical instruments, equipment, and supplies
  • Respond quickly to emergency situations and adapt to rapidly changing surgical demands
