An excellent opportunity is available for an experienced RN with a strong background in Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) nursing. This contract position offers a chance to work in a busy surgical setting equipped with 10 operating rooms and a skilled, multidisciplinary staff.
Schedule/Hours:
- Day shift and night shift positions available
- Rotating call: 4–6 shifts per month, including potential weekends
Desired Qualifications:
- Completion of PeriOp 101 for RNs
- Demonstrated experience in orthopedic and trauma cases
- Current RN license; required certifications up-to-date
- Familiarity with advanced OR equipment and EMR documentation
- Strong adaptability for potential floating to related surgical units
Key Responsibilities:
- Circulate and scrub on a wide variety of surgical procedures with emphasis on cardiovascular, orthopedic, and trauma cases
- Ensure safety and quality care standards, following facility sterilization and patient safety protocols
- Collaborate with surgeons, surgical technologists, and anesthesia providers to facilitate smooth operations
- Participate in on-call rotation as scheduled, responding promptly and professionally
- Accurately chart operative notes and assist with pre- and post-operative care as needed
Preferred Experience:
- Additional certifications in perioperative nursing
- Experience with high acuity, high-volume hospital surgical teams
- Strong communication and critical thinking skills

$2,299 - $2,432/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
