CVOR Registered Nurse - Operating Room (RN) in Aurora, CO

This contract offers the rewarding challenge of supporting complex surgical procedures alongside a collaborative, multidisciplinary team.

Schedule/Hours:

• Four 10-hour shifts per week: 06:45–17:15, Monday through Friday
• Participation in on-call rotation required

Qualifications and Experience:

• Current, active RN license in good standing
• Specialized experience as an RN in a Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR)
• Solid understanding of perioperative nursing practices and regulations as set by the state Board of Nursing
• Strong skills in critical thinking, patient assessment, and interdisciplinary communication
• Ability to adapt quickly and float to other departments as required (within scope of competence)

Responsibilities:

• Provide independent nursing care and execute delegated medical functions safely and efficiently
• Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop care plans tailored to surgical patients
• Deliver health teaching, counseling, therapy, and restorative interventions directly or by collaborating with team members
• Monitor, review, and document therapy and treatment plans, adhering to hospital and compliance standards
• Refer patients for additional treatment or evaluation as necessary
• Utilize hospital resources effectively to maximize patient outcomes
• Model and uphold the organization’s mission, vision, and service values in all patient and staff interactions
• Be prepared to take on additional assignments and on-call duties as business needs dictate

$2,420 - $2,560/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
