Desired Experience & Qualifications:

• Active RN license with eligibility for practice in North Carolina
• Minimum of 2 years’ recent experience in CVOR nursing
• Proficiency in cardiac and vascular surgical procedures
• Strong critical thinking, communication, and collaborative skills
• BLS and ACLS certifications required

Role Responsibilities:

• Deliver specialized nursing care to patients undergoing cardiovascular surgery
• Prepare and maintain the surgical environment; assist the surgical team as a scrub and circulating nurse
• Monitor patient status and surgical fields during procedures
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other nurses to ensure optimal care
• Maintain accurate and detailed documentation in compliance with facility and regulatory requirements
