Desired Qualifications and Experience:

• Active RN license in good standing
• Minimum of one year of recent experience in a CVOR environment
• Advanced knowledge of cardiovascular surgical procedures and sterile techniques
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Exceptional critical thinking, communication, and collaboration skills
• Ability to adapt to fast-paced, evolving clinical situations

Key Responsibilities:

• Circulate, scrub, and assist in all phases of cardiovascular surgical cases
• Conduct thorough preoperative assessments and ensure proper patient preparation
• Administer medications, monitor patients’ status, and support anesthesia providers as needed
• Uphold strict adherence to infection control and safety protocols
• Accurately document all nursing care, interventions, and patient responses
• Communicate efficiently with surgeons, providers, and support staff for optimal patient outcomes
